My Home Avali vs Akrida: Homes per Acre

Divide homes by land and Avali comes out at about 89 homes per acre. Akrida comes out at about 151. That’s our arithmetic, not My Home’s.

Density shows up in daily life: lift waits, the clubhouse at weekends, the queue at the gate at 9 am. Avali also keeps typical floors to four homes, which the brochure says lets homes open to views on three sides. If you want fewer neighbours, Avali is the clear pick. Our guide to homes per lift core explains what to count on a site visit.

Akrida’s scale isn’t only a drawback. A 25-acre site with 3,780 homes means a large community from day one, which some families want. It’s simply a different trade.

My Home Avali vs Akrida: Sizes and Budgets

This is where My Home Avali vs Akrida stops being a close call. The two projects barely overlap on size.

Project Home Saleable (sq ft) Carpet (sq ft)
Avali 2 BHK (refuge floors only) 2,551 1,620
Avali 3 BHK 3,000 / 3,043 1,930 / 1,892
Avali 4 BHK 3,609 / 3,612 2,206 / 2,269
Akrida 2 BHK 1,399 948–952
Akrida 2.5 BHK 1,622 1,113–1,114
Akrida 3 BHK 1,926–2,347 1,335–1,584

Avali’s smallest 3 BHK is about 650 sq ft bigger than Akrida’s largest. So at the same rate per square foot, an Avali 3 BHK costs about 28% more than the biggest Akrida 3 BHK. Avali’s carpet works out to 61–64% of saleable, Akrida’s to 67–70%. Compare carpet, not just saleable, when you line up quotes.

My Home Avali vs Akrida: Construction Stage

My Home’s update of 3 October 2026 shows every Avali tower past its structure. Towers 1 and 2 had flooring, internal doors and windows done up to the 46th floor. Tower 3 had flooring to the 41st and Tower 4 to the 43rd, with doors and windows still going in.

Akrida is a step behind. On 1 October 2026, Towers 1 to 6 were at their 29th to 38th floor roof slabs, out of 39. Towers 7 to 12 had screed and punning done up to the 37th to 39th floors.

So Avali is closer to handover, and Akrida gives you a longer runway to pay. Neither project publishes a possession date, so get your tower’s date in writing either way.

My Home Avali vs Akrida: Where the Budgets Meet

There’s one point where the two projects come close: Avali’s refuge-floor 2 BHK. At 2,551 sq ft saleable, it’s only about 200 sq ft bigger than Akrida’s largest 3 BHK. So a buyer with a mid-2,000s budget can ask a real question: a 2 BHK in the low-density project, or a 3 BHK in the bigger one?

There are only 16 of those 2 BHKs, and they sit beside the refuge area on the 18th, 27th, 36th and 45th floors. Read our explainer on refuge floor flats before you choose one.

My Home Avali vs Akrida: Which One Suits You

Pick My Home Avali if

You want a 3 or 4 BHK of 3,000 sq ft or more, only three neighbours on your floor, and towers that are already built. You can also live with paying for your own kitchen platform, sink and ACs. That’s the honest catch: Avali’s brochure puts the kitchen platform and sink in “customer scope”, and it supplies only AC points.

Pick My Home Akrida if

Your budget is for a 2, 2.5 or smaller 3 BHK, and a larger community doesn’t bother you. You’d also like more time to pay while the towers finish. Our My Home Akrida page has its sizes, specifications and construction stage, so check it before you compare fit-outs.
