New projects in Gopanpally, Hyderabad: My Home Akrida, Aparna Moonstone and Aparna Sunstone

New Projects in Gopanpally, Hyderabad (2026): What the Builders Confirm

Search for new projects in Gopanpally and you’ll get dozens of names, many of them broker labels for the same few sites. We went to the builders instead. As of November 2026, three projects selling here have a builder page, a TG RERA number and published sizes: My Home Akrida, Aparna Moonstone and Aparna Sunstone. Here’s what each builder actually confirms, and what it doesn’t.

Key takeaways

  • Three builder-confirmed new projects in Gopanpally: My Home Akrida, Aparna Moonstone and Aparna Sunstone
  • Together they add about 9,000 homes, all in towers of 39 to 44 upper floors
  • Aparna gives tentative completion dates (December 2028 and December 2029); My Home doesn’t publish one for Akrida
  • Aparna’s FAQ asks for a 20% booking amount; RERA caps what you pay before a registered agreement at 10%
  • None of the three has a published price list

New Projects in Gopanpally: The Short List

We counted a Gopanpally project only if its builder has a live project page with a TG RERA number. Everything below comes from those pages, read on 3 November 2026.

Project Land Towers Homes Types and sizes TG RERA Builder’s date
My Home Akrida 24.99 ac 12, G+39 3,780 2, 2.5, 3 BHK; 1,399–2,347 sq ft P01100007443 Not published
Aparna Moonstone about 22 ac 8, G+44 2,088 3, 4 BHK; 2,166–3,140 sq ft P02400009478 Dec 2029 (tentative)
Aparna Sunstone 24.9 ac 9, G+44 3,213 3 BHK only; 1,478–2,237 sq ft P02400007601 Dec 2028 (tentative)

By our arithmetic, that’s 9,081 homes. If you’ve already read our list of new launch projects in Tellapur, none of these three repeats it.

My Home Akrida, Gopanpally

Akrida is sold as being on the Gopanpally–Tellapur Road, but its legal address is Tellapur village, Ramachandrapuram mandal, Sangareddy district, 502032. It’s 3,780 homes in twelve towers of G+39, with eight homes on a typical floor and 81% of the land left open. There are two clubhouses, Cotta at 58,000 sq ft and Terra at 47,000 sq ft.

It’s the only new Gopanpally project with 2 and 2.5 BHKs: 1,399 and 1,622 sq ft. The 3 BHKs run 1,926 to 2,347 sq ft. Carpet works out to about 67–70% of saleable, by our maths from the brochure’s area statement.

On 1 October 2026, Towers 7 to 12 had their structure up and floor finishing under way. Towers 1 to 6 were still rising, between the 29th and 38th floor slabs. My Home hasn’t published a completion date. Our My Home Akrida price guide works through the per-sq-ft maths.

Aparna Moonstone, Gopanpally

Aparna Moonstone is part of Aparna Deccan Town, sold as Gopanpally–Gachibowli. Aparna’s FAQ gives 22.28 acres; its stat box rounds to 22. It’s 2,088 homes in eight towers of G+44, all 3 and 4 BHK from 2,166 to 3,140 sq ft.

That gives Moonstone the largest homes and the lowest density of the new projects in Gopanpally, at about 94 homes an acre by our maths. Aparna says construction has started and gives completion as “tentatively December 2029”. It also states a no-customisation policy, so don’t plan on moving walls.

Aparna Sunstone, Gopanpally

Aparna Sunstone is the other Deccan Town tower project: 24.9 acres, nine towers of G+44 and 3,213 homes. Every home is a 3 BHK, from 1,478 to 2,237 sq ft, with a 70,000 sq ft clubhouse.

Aparna gives Sunstone’s completion as “tentatively December 2028”, a year ahead of Moonstone, which would make it the first of the three Gopanpally projects to finish. At about 129 homes an acre, it sits between Moonstone and Akrida on density.

Aparna Deccan Town: The Bigger Picture

Moonstone and Sunstone are two pieces of a larger Gopanpally plan. Aparna describes Aparna Deccan Town as a 123-acre township with four high-rise gated communities and a gated enclave of 99 premium bungalows, in 3, 4 and 5 BHK from 1,478 to 10,156 sq ft. It also lists Aparna Spring Avenue, an upcoming 5.25-acre high street with a mall and a multiplex.

Only Moonstone and Sunstone have their own project pages with RERA numbers. Aparna hasn’t published the other gated communities by name on the pages we read, so we haven’t listed them.

One more detail: both Aparna projects carry TG RERA numbers starting P024, while Akrida’s starts P011. P024 is the prefix we’ve seen on Financial District and Kokapet projects, and P011 on Tellapur ones. That’s our observation, not an official rule, but it hints that Gopanpally projects can sit under different local offices. Our Gopanpally area guide explains what that means for your deed.

What We Left Out, and Why

  • My Home Avali. A 3 and 4 BHK project next to Akrida, in late finishing works. It’s already in our Tellapur list, and our My Home Avali page has the details.
  • My Home Sayuk. My Home’s 1 October 2026 update shows handovers in all twelve towers, so it’s a ready or resale buy in Gopanpally, not a new project.
  • My Home Vihanga and My Home Krishe. These names show up in searches, but we haven’t checked their status on My Home’s site, so they’re not on this list.
  • Aparna Garnet. Wikipedia lists it as a proposed 46-floor project, but we didn’t find a project page for it on Aparna’s site.

If you’re weighing Akrida against its finished neighbour, our My Home Akrida vs My Home Sayuk comparison sets them side by side.

The 20% Booking Question

Aparna’s FAQs for Moonstone and Sunstone mention a 20% booking amount. Under Section 13 of the RERA Act, a builder can’t take more than 10% of the cost before a registered agreement for sale.

That’s worth knowing before you book anywhere in Gopanpally. It doesn’t mean anything is wrong. Payments are often split around the agreement date. But ask, in writing, how much you pay before the agreement is registered and how much after. Keep your own payment within 10% until it is.

How to Check a New Project in Gopanpally Yourself

  1. Search the TG RERA number on the Telangana RERA portal (it needs a captcha) and note the completion date.
  2. Match the HMDA or GHMC permit number printed on the builder’s page to the approved plan.
  3. Read the village, mandal and district in the draft sale deed, not the area name on the brochure.
  4. Ask for carpet area on your unit; My Home publishes it for Akrida.
  5. Get a written cost sheet: GST at 5% and about 7.5% stamp duty, transfer duty and registration in Telangana, plus floor rise, parking, club and corpus.
  6. Visit Gopanpally at peak hour. With about 9,000 homes going up, construction traffic is the honest downside of buying here for the next few years.
